Study of Immersion
For my bachelor thesis written in Swedish, I utilized research through design methodology which enabled me to create an audiovisual installation to be the core subject of my study. The study examines the phenomena of Immersion and how multi-sensory experiences, can provide observers with the state of flow.
The installation has spatial three-dimensional sounds that pans around the four loudspeakers placed in every corner of the box. Each corner also has a short-throw projector that devours the space inside of the installation.

The idea for achieving Immersion in this instant was to try making something physically bigger than the spectator, so that a feeling of absorption would take place as the observers enter the room of another reality. An augmented reality that enriches and engages with the spectators’ perception through audiovisual stimuli.
